Dear Tranquility du Jour:

The question this week was great--as I said before, I'm always amazed by the amount of tasks (work, fun stuff, etc.) you accomplish in a week!  I had a question, that might be a follow-up to the last one.  How do you juggle multiple jobs/careers/passions.  I've found that since this past summer, I can now say that I have 3 jobs within my career--college counselor, adjunct professor (thank goodness I only teach one class a semester), and doctoral student (my dissertation is always looming in the background, as well as paperwork being carried in a big tote with me each day).  While I love counseling and try to practice self-care as often as I can, I find myself getting bogged down from time to time with different projects.  Deadlines can dictate the order of my to-dos, but often I create my own deadlines.  So, how do you manage running multiple studios, a clothing line, a non-profit, and being a student all at once without losing your mind from time to time?

S'il vous plaĆ®, submit your question for consideration on a future podcast.

Kimberly & Tim, thanks for the great reply! A nice reminder that multitasking doesn't all work well-creating time and space is the new goal.

And yes! Everything is impermanent...an important message to recall while doing mundane tasks!

I wondered if this was Sarah's question.... I can really relate (can carry my PhD articles around in a bag with me EVERY-WHERE!). Not listened to your response yet, but any insight and suggestions are welcome.

I'm only a few minutes into the podcast but I had to rush over to tell you that you two are adorable together. I'm glad that Tim has been added as a regular guest because hearing you interact is such a charming view into your lives. Too cute!

Great show, you two. Just finished listening to it while doing my spring cleaning. Thanks for the endorsement, Tim!
