Have a Zen Duel! Meditate with a buddy! I did this last night as an experiment with a borderline total stranger (who I met on the bus). Sit on the floor face to face, by candlelight, mint green tea at your sides. Set playlist for 15 minutes and meditate on the other person and see what happens! An after ohm snack of grapes and dark chocolate with almonds put the icing on the cake.

Light candles and read an inspirational, positive book, like Tranquilista.

A luxurious soak in the tub, preferably with Lush bath bombs for a little self-care destresser.

Make a playlist of 5 songs and have a mini yoga session. My favorite. My email address is absolutment@gmail.com!

My tranquil tip: A morning journal session followed by Enya Pandora and a mug of Lady Earl Grey tea. Splash a dash of glitter in your hair and some sun salutations and you are reading to greet the day!

I like to wake up early to meditate, practice some yin yoga and write in my journal. The best bit by far is when I jump back into bed to wake up my partner. Bliss.

Oops! Tweeted this by accident! My tranquility tip- give yourself an aromatic steam facial! Essential oils and fresh herbs ( a la lavande!) always leaves me feeling tranquil and refreshed!

One of my favorite DIY facials that is uber luxurious and tranquil:

1. Soak a washcloth in hot water with a few drops of lavender essential oil--wring it out and apply to the face when the temperature is comfortable

2. Then take 1/2 tsp. of almond butter (yes!) and mix it with some of the lavender water so it's a little creamy. Gently exfoliate your face with it for a minute.

3. Rinse off the almond butter and finish with a mask of either honey (tired or blemished skin), mashed avocado (dry skin), or strawberry yogurt (oily skin). Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse off and pat dry.

This will leave your skin glowing!

Dang, I missed it ;-( so sad I missed the class and meeting you (someone whom I really admire)

Tranquil tip... don't let the fact that your day didn't worked out how you hoped mean that your day can't have it's own treasures in it anyways..

Looks like I missed the ten but hey, have a tranqulity tip anyway: drink bubbly in a bubbly bath :)

And me always misses them too - due to the time gap :-( But congrats to the lucky ones... maybe ooone day I'm also a lucky girl...

I can double Rachel... I always do that in winter! My very own time for me - a good book or magazine, a good smelly candle and a glass of rose prosecco - divine!!

I missed the top ten, but having my morning coffee or tea while sitting outside is truly calming. It's just five or ten minutes of quiet and just "being still". It sets the tone for a good day!

Organizing my week on Sunday and scheduling at least two evenings/afternoons at home. Just knowing that downtime is there makes a world of difference as I work through the hectic moments.

Sitting on the front porch in the early morning fog, staring into the woods with a cup of chai and a fat kitty on my lap, while wrapped in my extra thick fleece leopard print generic Snuggle... xo
