new york gathering: august 8

image courtesy of matt jiggins via flickr

dearest new yorkers,

on august 5 i will be landing in your fabulous city for a week of yoga, vintage shopping, writing, dining, and creative inspiration with le pug and le beau in tow. i'd love to coordinate a gathering of creative ladies for impromptu tea or cocktails on monday, august 8 (7pm"ish"). if you're interested and available, reply in the comment section or email moi and we'll determine the perfect meet up spot. i'm thinking one of the darling alice's tea cup spaces (suggested by creative cookie) may be a good fit and am open to other suggestions.

also, we'll be staying in a tiny apartment on west 14th in case you have any must-see or must-do suggestions. top on my list is the alexander mcqueen exhibit!

here's to a week of basking in your city's tremendous inspiration. this little girl is in need of the heaps of eye candy new york offers up and i'm over the moon to meet some of you!

bisous. x

I am too far away to meet up for drinks but i hope that you will share your trip on your blog. Love New York and miss the city so much... would like to be there virtually with you. Have fun !

You must go to Tinsel Trading store on 28th St. Lots of inspiration to be found there!

As for drinks, 230 on Fifth is the best view of the Empire State Building.... Perfect for a summer night.

I will try to meet up!

It will be my very first day in NY - 6 weeks for work follow. But because of the time difference it is unlikely that I am fit. But I keep my eyes open and will say hello if you cross my way.

Kimberly! I would love to meet up! Cafe Pick Me Up in the East Village is right near the dog run in Tompkins Square Park and a ton of east village vintage shopping on 9th Street:)

Oh Kimberly! I so wanted to make it down to see you but we have relatives coming in on the 8th.

Check out Bergdorf Goodman's window displays, always artistic. In May, they showcased Alexander McQueen. You'll love it at the Met.

Here's a blogger who photographs the store windows of NY. Might give you some ideas for places to visit:

I'm taking notes here for my next trip. Can't wait to hear your adventures. Enjoy!
