Featured Tranquilista: Bronwyn Simons is an artist, entrepreneur, blogger, and dancer living on beautiful Denman Island in British Columbia, Canada. Her many and various life-{ad}ventures include a ceramics production studio, a web development and marketing business serving artists and women solopreneurs, and The Artful Life, featuring a blog, e-courses, and retreats designed to help women access their innate beauty, creativity, sensuality, and joy in life. {Oh! And she teaches bellydance and burlesque in her spare time!}

The unifying force behind these various ventures is Bronwyn's belief in the power of beauty and creativity to heal our lives and awaken our sense of grace.

Bronwyn believes in blurring the lines between work and play, and between the sensual and the sacred. She is nurtured by the natural beauty of her island world, by her art, by her relationships with her husband and her daughter, by the rich communities of women which encircle her on and off line, and by the constant companionship of her pug-dog Chloe.

OMwork:
1. How can I live artfully this week?

Signature Style: TranquiliT is a line of layers in rayon made from organic bamboo. We are locally sewn and plant 150 trees each month while also donating a portion of proceeds to Nest and Tranquil Space Foundation. In honor of a recent feature on convertible clothing in the New York Times, our featured piece is the skirt dress. Tres versatile, chic, and fabulous.
