---- bon soir! welcome to my bookshelf haven. in this tranquility du jour tv segment i'll take you through my overflowing shelves and share some fave texts. i'm addicted to book buying, adore bookstore browsing, and can't express the amount of pleasure i gain from books. j'adore books, books, and more books. guest appearances by louis the pug and bonnard the fancy feline.
I laughed about the cookbooks in your book case tour..."not much going on there"...LOL! Same here! I envy your built-in book shelves...! :-) I did get a small list of books to check out from your video including SuperCorp, Living A Beautiful Life, and The Alchemist. Thanks for sharing!
Such a fun video! Thanks for sharing. I've read several books from your recommended resources before -- so inspiring! Prompted me to get out my paints, colored pencils and take art classes for the first time in years. Life changing!
I love that you are currently reading about 50 books. I was recently interviewed about my work and asked where I get my design inspiration. I guess I should have said, "The Art Institute, the great architecture of Chicago...I don't know what." What I DID say was, my book shelves...a line of poetry can set the whole mood for a room. Books and fabric stores. So much for high-end interior design theory!
My husband thinks I'm insane with the books piled up on my side of the bed . . . I shared your video with him - thanks for validating the bibliofiles! Do you know about LibraryThing?? It's an online catalog - but it's also like a social networking tool - connecting people to books ;) Enjoy! Alexis

Loved the video. I share the same belief of learning through osmosis with all of my books I have not read.

C'est La Vie is a great book. I read it in 2007. Your head will be swimming in daydreams of living in Paris!!
