bon soir! welcome to my bookshelf haven. in this tranquility du jour tv segment i'll take you through my overflowing shelves and share some fave texts. i'm addicted to book buying, adore bookstore browsing, and can't express the amount of pleasure i gain from books. j'adore books, books, and more books. guest appearances by louis the pug and bonnard the fancy feline.

I love that you are currently reading about 50 books. I was recently interviewed about my work and asked where I get my design inspiration. I guess I should have said, "The Art Institute, the great architecture of Chicago...I don't know what." What I DID say was, my book shelves...a line of poetry can set the whole mood for a room. Books and fabric stores. So much for high-end interior design theory!
