Off the Mat: Today’s podcast is on being a beacon. Heather Veeder is a small town girl with big city dreams. Currently she is working on completing her life long goal of being a doctor, not the cutting people open type. After graduating from University of Idaho with a Psychology degree she attended Eastern Washington University where she received a Masters of Social Work degree. At the present time she is working on her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Indeed not exactly the urban metropolis of the United States that she was hoping for but Spokane does have its charms. Heather is passionate about creating functional pottery, feeling good through mindful practices, and her three cats: Simon, Jacksen, and Figaro.

Please feel free to contact her regarding any questions or resource requests for advancing your understanding of leadership. She is best reached through email at hveeder@gonzaga.edu.

Dream BIG, Live ABUNDANTLY, Love SHAMELESSLY
