the joys of cafe writing
i met up with a girlfriend this morning to focus on finishing my agent's edits (from 8.31 - ugh!) to my tranquilology proposal. i'm in absolute heaven here at a comfy cafe at 14th and u. sitting in an old rust-colored velour armchair typing away with my cup of jasmine tea nearby makes me tres happy! funky cafe tunes are playing, the sun is shining, i'm doing something that has been set aside due to multiple dramas the past few months and it feels sooo good! better get back to writing and immerse myself in the flow. happy sunday!
