Off the Mat: Today’s podcast is on veganism with Sarah Kramer. Sarah Kramer is the author of La Dolce Vegan! and co-author of How It All Vegan! and The Garden of Vegan. She lives in Victoria, BC with her husband, where she manages a tattoo shop in addition to creating her vegan masterpieces and maintaining her popular website GoVegan.net. Maple Apple Dip from the book How It All Vegan!:

1 cup silken tofu
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup maple syrup
1-2 medium apples, sliced

In a blender or food processor, blend together the tofu, cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup until smooth. Spoon into a small blown and use as a dip for the sliced apples or other fruits. Makes approx 1 1/2 cups.

Thanks for another great podcast. I have been considering veganism for some time now and the interview with Sarah was really useful and answered a few of my questions.
