Amy Bertha is the artist behind the TranquiliT jewelry line. The jewelry line was launched at the Tranquil Space boutique in August of 2006 and has been extremely popular with boutique shoppers. Jewelry making is a creative outlet for Amy, who studied Chemistry and German in college. In her "day job" she works for the Food and Drug Administration as a Project Manager in the part of the FDA that grants approvals to new pharmaceutical drugs. Before moving to Washington DC 2 years ago, Amy lived in Germany, Switzerland and Connecticut, where she worked for large pharmaceutical companies, practiced her German and met her husband while racing sailboats.
