i've found myself pining for paris recently. when i received these images in my in box, i knew i was a goner. you know, in one of those "ah, let me just check my miles" kind of ways.
good news, i've got enough to make a {free} jaunt happen and am contemplating the best mini escape to the city of light.
a girl needs her fix. in a way that only this beautiful backdrop can provide. bisous. x

I'm pining too! This is the first time in three years I am not going to Paris for a month... I miss it SO MUCH!
Perhaps your mini-holiday will include a Josy Mermet makeover, fabulous new glasses frames from Les Lunettes d'Also (I buy a new pair every time I go), and tea with mile-high lemon meringue pie at Le Loir dans le Theiere...

LOVE these suggestions, thank you! x
Please do go and take lots of pictures for the rest of us who are jonesing for a Paris fix!
A couple of my favorite places in the Marais, close to the Place des Vosges:
Le Thé des Ecrivains
16 Rue des Minimes, 75003
Gorgeous paper goods and a tea room.
Jacques Génin
133 Rue de Turenne, 75003
An amazing temple of chocolate-love the basil truffles and mango caramels!
Also on my Paris wish list, in Monmartre:
Musée de la Vie Romantique
16 Rue Chaptal, 75009
I haven't been there yet, but they have a salon de thé in a rose garden which sounds tres sympathique should you happen to be in the neighborhood...
I should note that Les Lunettes d'Also and Le Loir dans la Theiere are both right in the middle of the Marais as well :-)
Also steps away, Rose Bakery (which I adore!) and delicious vegan falafels on Rue des Rosiers...
I WANT TO GO TOO!
