bonjour monday and welcome to a fresh {nearly fall} week!
a popular concept in social work is resiliency. it's defined on dictionary.com as:
1. the power or ability to return to the original form, position, etc., after being bent, compressed, or stretched; elasticity.2. ability to recover readily from illness, depression, adversity, or the like; buoyancy.
what sways one person may not affect another. the ability to avoid life's roller coaster and not be swayed severely by daily ups and downs is resiliency. it's an elusive word used often, but not necessarily clear on how to enhance.
when you look back on everyday disappointments like late deliveries, misprints, typos, and cakes that don't rise, how do you react? for moi, some days i shrug my shoulders. other days i want to have a good cry and nap all day.
here are some tips to enhance your resiliency and you'll find lots of reference to our good ol' tranquility tools. wishing you a mindful monday filled with resiliency and a dose of shoulder shrugging when things don't quite go as perfectly planned. bisous. x

Great reminders! I've also read/experienced that the stronger your foundation (emotional, physical, spiritual, etc) the more resilient you will be.Thanks for the inspiration :) xx
Such a good reminder! And a great quote.
