tonight i began working on my sketchbook for the sketchbook project due april 30 to art house. check out their inspiring blog. i began by putting paint down on a few blank pages and added a cover topped with japanese masking tape for a festive start. heaps more to come over the next few weeks before submitting my sketchbook to live in the brooklyn art library.
there is something so tranquil about playing with paint and images.
as carl jung wrote, "the soul speaks in image."

I joined the sketchbook project too- when I saw you posted about it awhile ago. I had a great time creating my book and am excited to see the published book with all the contributions.
