hammock + sir louis = perfection

this weekend is our annual teacher team retreat. those who stayed the night are out galavanting in nearby towns so i wanted to post a fun photo from yesterday. while we awaited their arrival last night, sir louis, le beau + moi savored some much needed hammock time . . . for hours! here's a fun shot le beau snapped of us in the zone. 

next on the agenda: greeting teachers, mingling off the mat, leading a practice session under the tree canopy, professional development, and a cookout. there is something so special about getting away from the hustle and bustle to bask in the woods for a few hours of perfection.

consider a moment of tranquility yourself through a staycation: create a fort with blankets. stay in bed all day. head out to an exhibit. sit at a sidewalk cafe and people watch. head to the nearest park with only a blanket and book in tow. play tourist in your city.
