ooh la la: happy bastille day
bonsoir from tranquil space world headquarters,
back to the land of the living after two days curled up with louis the pug. summer cold = boo. must confess that lots of sleeping was tres fun. love moi some cuddled in oodles of goose down moments. to top it off, woke up to a vase full of light pink gerber daisies from beau. ahhhhh.
sadly, missed my french class on monday due to the nasty virus, but i'll be back for full embarrassment tomorrow. example a. we learned enchanté, i spelled it au shante. oh my! it helps to have a sense of humor.
wanted to share a source of inspiration that i've discovered and encourage you embrace: sticky foil stars. my office calendar has a star for each day i got my yoga on. have something you're trying to do (daily meditation, pack your lunch, walk to work, write a page of your novel) or that you want to acknowledge and pat yourself on the back for (yoga, learning a new french word, taking photos, writing a blog post, tweeting, volunteering)? of course you do! well, get yourself some foil stars at the local drug store and pretty up your planner pad or calendar. only you have to know what it is for!
oh, recently signed up to peruse etsy. can you believe it's taken me this long? feels like a slippery slope. any favorite designers we must know about?

This reminded me that I have some sparkly star stickers in rainbow colors at work. I used them for some of the younger clients I worked with. Now that I'm leaving the job soon, I can use them for me. :)
I also use sparkly star stickers - used some last night in my diary! Certainly brightens up my day...
