to inspire

i have received this link from so many people that i had to pass it along. it's the lovely elizabeth gilbert, author of eat, pray, love.

in addition, if you'd like a BIG smile to come to your face, click this link to watch a *darling* piglet walk on the beach and get acclimated to its new home. cutest thing EVER (next to sir louis, of course)!

i have 8 days left to finish my tranquilista manuscript for new world library. any unscheduled moments have been consumed with the need to write so oodles of creative projects are on hold. i can't wait to share the fall palette colors with you and get your feedback on the colors you want! lots of website updates, videos (to update our youtube page), and retreat prep (3rd annual hip tranquil chick retreat end of the month) is awaiting my attention. all *uber* exciting and fun projects on the horizon. merci beaucoup for your patience.

i was blessed with two bookstore dates this weekend (TOTAL treat), a shopping spree at LUSH (my holiday + v-day gifts redeemed), yummy italian dinner with beau, a great group in leesburg for my workshop/booksigning/trunk show soiree, a challenging ashtanga yoga practice, an amazing teaching circle with my teacher training mentees who are truly shining, a lovely turnout for yoga + kirtan co-led with musician wynne paris, and a fun teacher training potluck. full weekend and i feel blessed. now, gotta hunker down and write.

may this week offer you a chance to indulge your creative spirit by trying something new, starting your day with a fresh ritual, or simply sipping a new tea. xo

Thanks for the links, Kimberly! For any DC-area folks interested, Elizabeth Gilbert is speaking at the National Cathedral at the end of March.

Thank you for that Elizabeth Gilbert link. She came to speak here in my town, but I wasn't able to go! Bummer. This is the next best thing.

Fabulous links, as usual, but you need to stop with the pig links. They're making me want one of my own. I'm in the same position as you -- the Beau says "NO." That video was too cute!

Loved the link on Elizabeth Gilbert, fear can really create unnecessary road blocks in our life. It is encouraging to know that we all have fears and the adventure is being able to overcome them (our growth comes from this I feel)! I hope to make The Ted conference one day, too! Pig fascination? You and my friend Jo. She has a love for them. Her motto is "When Pigs fly," which of course in her mind, they already do!! Thanks for your light.

Thanks for the Gilbert link. If you have a moment, you should watch the video of Jill Bolte Taylor on TED. She is inspiring!

Thanks so much for the link to Elizabeth Gilbert. I've been a little, um, well blocked creatively the past few weeks. This was great to listen to.

Great link! It has reminded me that I need to 'finally' read that fabulous book before it collects too much dust on my bookshelf. I need to stop buying books so that I can read all of the books that are currently waiting for me.
