She has served the financial and insurance needs of organizations and individuals for over 29 years.

In 1993 she was honored by the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York as “Man of the Year”, the
third woman in MONY’s 150 year history to receive that prestigious award. She has been honored with company and industry awards for her leadership, sales performance and outstanding client service every year of her career.

Kaplan is
also a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), recognized as the standard of excellence in the industry, and, has also earned a place at MDRT’s Top of the Table.

Kaplan is the past Chairman of the Dean’s Council of the Columbian College at George Washington University, a member of the Planned Giving Committee of the University, and has been active at GW for many years.
