this little boy has won my heart. he regularly gives his mother origami and sweet handwritten notes to pass along to moi. at our bethesda studio holiday party, he purchased a TranquiliT scarf in slate. i thought it was a gift for his mother - a TranquiliT connoisseur - but, alas, it was for him. note him dolled up in the scarf reading in front of the fireplace. a boy after my own heart!DC is electric right now and tonight we're hosting a fun 2-hour workshop with a dj playing house music. it's exciting to be part of this historic moment and to celebrate it through a practice focused on change and being the change we want to see in the world!

I am SO glad about my new president, but also SO ready for Wednesday, when everyone goes home and he can get to work - and I can cross a bridge in my car or squeeze onto a metro train :)
AND that child is adorable - I wish I had a little angel sending me origami and little love notes!
