Creative Thursdays: Spice up your TranquiliT scarf

It is definitely time to dust off your winter wears as it is getting quite chilly outside these days. Fear not, as TranquiliT has some fun accessories for you to add to your winter wardrobe. Arm warmers and our beanie are always great, but the scarf you can't go wrong with!

Made with yummy, super soft organic bamboo, you can be stylish (and warm!) without having to worry about itchiness you might get from typical winter accessories. It also makes a great stocking stuffer for the upcoming holidays. Check out the fun ways to wear our scarf on our youtube page.

As if this wasn't great enough, why not add a dash of originality and creativity to your piece? I've taken some paper beads from Paper to Pearls that support local beading collaboratives in Uganda and have hand sewn them to the edge of the scarf. I love that the papers beads are larger in size, but light weight. It adds just enough color to my slate gray scarf.

Other eco-friendly and fairtrade bead options are ceramic beads from Kenya at Kazuri beads or Bead for Life who also makes paper beads in Uganda.
