the end of cabin time

my week away was fruitful, eye-opening, restorative, and much too quick. i accomplished my writing goals despite having 38,000 words to go by march 15. no pressure! thanks to a rescheduled event beau and i were able to extend a day to enjoy another hike, dinner at the lodge, and writing time.

here are some photos of us hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. it's truly an honor to be out in the woods this time of the year. the fall foliage is an absolute dream.

while beau enjoys a night of hockey downtown, i'm delighted to be nesting at home. truly one of my favorite things to do. candles lit, incense burning, washer and dryer going, stacks of mail beckoning moi, billie holiday playing in the background. a good night to nest.

I'm almost jealous of your cabin time ... "almost" because mine is coming up next weekend!
