happy *almost* thanksgiving! i must confess that i'm tres grateful for each of you. my past 3 years on the blog world have been an absolute treat as it's connected me to so many similar souls that i would never have met in person. merci, merci, merci!
after a day packed with meetings from 9:45-6, plus teaching at our arlington studio, i've baked the chocolate chip cookies that i serve each year at tranquil space's charity yoga classes. am heading to bed early to ensure i'm bright-eyed and bushy-tailed behind the front desk in the morning. this is one of my favorite things each year - welcoming amazing students in family-like fashion to the studio each thanksgiving. when the studio was smaller, i knew everyone, knew everyone's significant others, had the holiday parties (and studio) in my living room, and i miss that personal touch. each thanksgiving i feel like i get to reclaim it.
the above photo shows some of my fabulous nyc finds - sparkly headbands, 4 pairs of shimmery earrings, must-have mala beads, silver knee high socks to wear under tall boots, and silver bangle bracelets - some with sparkles. not shown are fabulous knee high skull and crossbones socks plus the most amazing faux fur leg warmers. you know those crazy, funky fur boots that must be tres warm? well these are a great cheap, chic, cruelty-free substitute. i stumbled across this lovely new designer market and HAD to have 'em.
happy thanksgiving. i'm soooooo grateful for you! xo
