greetings from asheville!

delighted to find wifi at the lovely panera bread near the blueridge parkway in asheville. yesterday's workshops at yoga-south in charlotte were delightful. such an amazing yoga community filled with beautiful practices. i taught a 2-hour yin yoga and 2-hour slow flow followed by a book signing complete with tea and yummy cookies from a local bakery. i was honored to learn over tea and cookies that a fellow hip tranquil chick, brooke, travelled all the way from atlanta for the event!

while reading by carlight during the journey, i came across a beloved quote by martin luther king, jr. that i wanted to share:

"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great sweeper who did his job well."
podcast coming tomorrow once we return home to our "recording studio" (aka pink palace). off to drive into the smokies. . .
