I am in a yoga workshop with Aadil Palkhivala this weekend and am being reminded of so many things about my personal practice and the choices I make in life. Sometimes as a yoga teacher my energy towards the process is directed to my students, yet is harder to honor with myself. I am hoping to work it out to take 6 months off of working with private clients (which I do about 20 sessions a week right now) and focus on my practice and the book I plan to write. It's nice to come home after having a similar realization and read that you are in a similar place. But then again, it is similar to the conundrum that counselors find themselves in--better at understanding others and resolving their problems than we are at our own problems.

The process is something I'm avoiding right now, as I am taking a break, or maybe procrastinating, on yet another stat paper! I know you know that feeling. Let's face it, stat paper writing is not a fun process. I rather than the end product just happen, finished paper. But, I guess it doesn't work that way!

At least I had some yummy candles lit around me.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13380957579912040915noreply@blogger.com
